Elmo

Tried using the local red heart yarn, happy with the outcome. Love the dark red color of the yarn for Elmo. A very cheap project but the outcome is Two Thumbs Up.

Got my set of clover takumi getaway crochet hook which I order from joann.com.
According to Cabbie, the one who is introduced to me to the world of crochet this is one of the good brand for starter like me.

Firsr Yarn Purchased

These where the 1st set of yarn that I purchased from Dreams Yarn Shopee which is located at 3rd floor Glorietta 5 Ayala Center, Makati City.   


Dreams sells imported yarn like novelty stuff, fluffy,  tinsel, mohair, lace weight yarn, acrylic like the Red Heart,Bernat, Caron, Excel etc

 

For my 1st purchased, I got 4 balls sugar and cream yarns which cost me 160 each, and 4 balls of excel yarn which cost me 95 each. Sad to say they don't have credit card how I wish they have so that I can buy more colors and more balls for my projects. 

Valentine Puffy Heart

Got this tutorial on how to do this puffy heart also from crochet geek herself Teresa. I know this may not be look like a heart but still on a practice mode. Glad with the outcome.
